Update number one. It's just after noon here, which means I've been sort of at this for almost five hours.
I say "sort of at this" and "almost" because I've been doing other things as well.
I ran out for drinks, coffee, and breakfast. I had breakfast in bed.
I started with Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky and was rather enjoying that.
But then I got a bit sleepy. So I took a short nap.
Now we have the football games on--Zach is watching Mizzou and I'm periodically watching the Red River Rivaly (and mightily cheering for Texas because I hate ou; I hate those guys so, so much...but I digress...)
The Books: I have been reading Where'd You Go, Bernadette? This is one I began in the spring and set aside. I am finding the epistolary format to be very good for my brain. I have just over 100 ebook pages left, so I think I can actually finish this one today. Especially with how quickly the epistolary format reads. Honestly, I may stick with something contemporary for the rest of the Thon. I don't know. We shall see.
The Food: I haven't dipped into the snacks yet. This afternoon, I totally will. I am currently thinking about lunch. I kind of want Chipotle, but I don't really feel like getting out again. I will probably wind up having leftover pizza. But if I can make it until halftime of the Mizzou game...
The General Disposition: I am doing great! I am feeling really energized after my nap. I am feeling good about my book. I think we might be having Chipotle for lunch. ou is losing. All is good.
Lastly, I've seen that the cheerleading team for my blog is Team Otter. I love it! I love otters. Thank you, Cheerleaders! You guys are awesome! I am also having a great time finding new people on Twitter, which will translate to new blogs to follow. I love the networking!
Back to the reading!
